The headshot and resume is always the first thing a director sees when you walk into an audition. It introduces the director to the actor before they meet face to face. I take pride in my resume because it shows all the hard work I have put into my acting career. Through out the last many years, I have worked really hard to build up my resume, show after show. I eventually got to the point where I had to delete stuff from my resume because there was too much. A resume is constantly changing as well as headshots.
As I grew and got older, I got new headshots ever couple of years. Each photoshoot was a lot of fun and took place in different areas of the city. My headshots capture expressions on my face that represent me well. They are more than just pictures, they are representations of me for different characters that I may audition for. I don't use the same headshot for every audition, sometimes I use a smiling picture, opposed to a serious face.
